The current Joint Regional Plan is coming to the end of its lifecycle. Feedback received over recent years suggests that while the existing plan provided valuable strategic direction, it could sometimes be difficult to translate into practical action at a local level. As a result, Western Queensland PHN is taking a refreshed approach that focuses on a lean regional framework supported by locally driven plans for each region.
As part of this work, WQPHN are seeking insight from people with experience delivering, supporting or navigating mental health, alcohol and other drug, and suicide prevention responses across your region.
Service providers, community organisations, system partners and other stakeholders are invited to participate in a one-on-one interview and share their perspective on:
Interview findings will be considered alongside a whole-of-region survey and future workshops.
Together, these activities will help inform the development of the Joint Regional Plans.
To register for an interview, please select a suitable time using the booking link: Book your one-to-one interview
If you would prefer to participate by phone, please leave your contact number when booking and a member of the project team will call you at the scheduled time.
If you have any questions, please contact Stephanie Coleman at Beacon Strategies at steph@beaconstrategies.com.au or 0402 160 221.
You can still contribute through our short whole-of-region survey: WQPHN Joint Regional Planning stakeholder survey
As an additional avenue to have your say, in-person consultation sessions are being held across Western Queensland. These sessions provide another opportunity for community members and service providers to share their experiences, perspectives and local priorities, helping inform future planning for mental health, alcohol and other drug services across the region.
